This track was composed whilst I was on the road, whilst I was thinking about the abuses of oil companies. Sadly there then occurred one of the worst oil spills of recent history, the explosion at the BP owned Deepwater Horizon well. I incorporated some details of the impacts of the spill into the song and my main overall point here is that we are being required to hunt for oil in ever more dangerous locations by our increasing dependence on fossil fuels, we have to change this.
